MARE FRISIUM: A three-master with tradition
A fresh breeze, the wind tightens the sails and finally the bow of the ship ploughs through the foaming waves. Since October 2005, this imposing ship has been sailing under the flag of s.a.i.l. GmbH.
In 1916 the windjammer was launched as a drifter 52 metres long in Holland. Later the three-mast sailing ship was operated as a cargo vessel sailing from Hamburg to Sweden and St. Petersburg. Finally, it was renovated and operated as a passenger ship.
Today, MARE FRISIUM has room for 90 day guests and 36 overnight guests. There are two salons with bars and wonderful views. Our friendly captain has enough professional experience to teach the art of sailing and to even turn landlubbers into enthusiastic sailors.
On our traditional sailing ship you'll be able to participate from close up when more than 2,000 clippers and yachts compete against each other during "Kieler Woche". During "Hamburg's Port Birthday" or "Hanse Sail Rostock" you also have the chance to be right in the middle of these international sailing events.
MARE FRISIUM is suited for all kinds of events: incentives on the high seas, birthdays, weddings and many more.
