In 2010 the Kieler Woche, the world’s biggest sailing sport event, takes place from June 19 to 27. More than three million guests are visiting this yearly major maritime event on and at the Fjord of Kiel. The festival is also visited by sailors from all over the world, even Olympic and World Cup champions, who are competing in several sport boat regatta races. Olympic Adventures at Kiel-Schilksee
a) Visit the former Olympic centre during the Kieler Woche and be close to the international sailing sport. Hold e.g. your own company sailing trophy: an official representative of the Kieler Woche committee will welcome you and your guests at your arrival at the Kiel Yachting Club. Famous sailing sportsmen will train you for your trophy and support you during your first sailing regatta.

b) However, you can also enjoy the official competitions in a very relaxed way aboard a traditional windjammer ship. After the regatta has finished, a rapid RIB boat will transfer you back ashore. Launches, Fairs & Co.
Once in a year Kiel is the centre of the international water sport. During the Kieler Woche about 3.5 million guests are visiting the so-called Sailing City. Avail yourself of this top level event to hold a product launch, a fair, or an exhibition. Invite your clients e.g. into the cruise terminal at the Ostseekai which was built in 2006. It is one of the latest terminals at the German coast and offer space for up to 1.400 people and a total size of 1.800 square metres. After your daytime event you may close the day with your VIP guests aboard a traditional sailing ship and celebrate an outstanding party on deck. Shipborne Party & Evening Events
There are various possibilities to close an eventful day in an exclusive way after you have come ashore again. Celebrate e.g. an exclusive evening event at the gigantic cruise terminal in the city centre, at the Olympic Harbour at Schilksee, or as well at Manor Emkendorf just outside the city limits of Kiel. Let us present to you an individually created conception for a very exclusive evening event. However, if you still do not want to leave the ship in the evening, then just stay aboard and celebrate an exciting party on deck. When the sunset floods the Kiel Fjord with picturesque colours, you will be sitting on deck and enjoying our delicious catering. By request we will take care of the adequate music and entertainment program, too. And just in case you already feel home aboard the ship, there are comfortable cabins under deck to stay overnight.
