Hanse Sail Rostock: Einzigartige Segel-Erlebnisse
The „Hanse Sail Rostock“ is one of the major maritime summer celebrations in the north of Germany and in the area around the Baltic Sea. As the biggest event in Western Pomerania it attracts more than one million visitors on the second weekend in August since 1991. In 2007 the „Hanse Sail Rostock” takes place from 9 until 12 August.
The highlight of the annually growing folk festival is the regatta of the tall ships just out Warnemünde, one of the most beautiful sailing spots in Germany.
Companies are able to charter tall ships exclusively for groups from 15 people for their employees or clients – for example to join the regatta or a sailing trip during the firework.
Furthermore, businesses have the possibility to combine an extraordinary event on open water with individual functions such as product presentations and workshops. Moreover there is also the possibility to join a sailing trip on a traditional sailing ship if you are traveling on your own or in a small group. Altogether about 30.000 guests will join a public sailing trip during the “Hanse Sail”.
