A Piece of Hanseatic Trade Tradition
Visitors of the former Coffee Exchange of Hamburg are put back to the economic world of the 1950s. The today landmark event location is located in the centre of the historical warehouse district. Authentic details in each of the building’s rooms give evidence of Hamburg’s past as hub of the worldwide coffee trade.
The auction hall is the centre point of this location. Right above its entrance doors you can still see three clocks showing – as done in the past - the times of New York, Rio and Hamburg. The Coffee Exchange suits best for conventions and festivities with a maximum of 220 guests. An additional parlour and five smaller rooms on the upper floors offer seats for small meetings and seated dinners for a total of 10 to 40 people. They can be used separately or connected with each other.
An insider tip is the adjacent Fleet Terrace. Its idyllic atmosphere is perfectly used for relaxing barbecues or stylish cocktail parties. The Fleet Terrace offers space for up to 120 persons. You may use it in connection with other rooms of the Coffee Exchange and have a nice finish after a meeting or conference.
