Flying P-Liner SS-Passat Lübeck Travemünde

The Landmark of Travemuende

In Travemuende, 15 km away from Luebeck, you will find the four-master Passat, an impressive sailing ship that once belonged to the famous fleet called Flying P-Liner. The sailing monument with fixed anchorage at the mouth of the Trave provides the ideal setting for haunting memorable private or corporate events.

Whether meetings, gala dinners or receptions – this landmark of Travemuende with its 56 meter high masts offers an exceptional ambience. Already in 1911 the impressive four-master had its maiden voyage. Until the ship was fixed anchored in Travemuende in 1960, it had been transporting corn all over the world. During the last years the interior of the ship has been refurbished: A stylish wooden panelling and red leather armchairs compose a cosy, but also classy ambience. The mess room, the two former stock rooms, and the hatches combine elegance with maritime charm, offering space for 20 to 120 people. Celebrate on a ship that reminds you of a time when seafaring coevally ever was an adventure.
