Cruise Centre Kiel: Giant ferries in Kiel's city centre
It is impressive how the giant ferries arrive right in Kiel's city centre commuting back and forth from Oslo.
Despite their gigantic appearance they make no sound coming into the harbour. Just as exciting as the ferries themselves is the cruise centre "Norwegenkai". This remarkable building consisting of glass, steel and concrete is an eyecatcher for people arriving at the main train station.
The cruise centre suits exceptional events like big conferences, stylish dinner-events or weddings. The Norwegenkai's giant windows with a length of 102 metres provide a beautiful view of the Kiel Fjord and the city centre for your guests.
The inside is furnished with premium material such as granite and polished metal. From the entrance you can take an escalator or a glass lift to the meeting facilities. The cruise centre has room for 100 up to 1400 people. What is more, the main station and many hotels are within walking distance.
