Hamburg's Former Coffee Exchange: Holding meetings and giving parties the Hanseatic way
Hamburg’s former coffee exchange (Kaffeebörse) used to be the hub of world coffee trading. Today, it serves as a magnificent setting for corporate and private events. Thanks to all the authentic details and the restoration work of Hamburg's famous architect Werner Kallmorgen the rooms and halls are simply breathtaking. The three clocks of the auction hall, which hang above the French doors, still show the current time in Hamburg, Rio and New York, the world’s biggest coffee trading cities. The original slate boards still display the last prices of trading - dating back to 1958
The former coffee exchange has several rooms and halls, differing in size and ambience – all available for a wide variety of events. In the auction hall you will be seated in sturdy, green leather armchairs with the original table from long ago. Right here you can hold your meeting like Hamburg's former coffee importers. This event location is a master of conversion and can be used for business meetings as well as special functions. The various rooms provide sufficient space for 10 to 300 guests.
