Sightseeing tour on the Alster Lake
On the smaller of the two lakes in Hamburg's city-centre, the "Binnenalster", passengers are offered stunning views of downtown Hamburg, i.e. the city hall tower, the church of St. Nicolai and the famous "Alsterhaus" department store. On the larger lake, the "Aussenalster", tourists are offered a view of numerous yachts, swans, noble villas and wide park areas. On the decks of the traditional white Alster steamers, passengers can enjoy the city of Hamburg from a fully new perspective.
Additionally, you can take boat trips on the Alster canals. The boats will leave the Aussenalster for the quieter little canals - beautiful villas with tended gardens, modern residential buildings, garden allotments and unspoilt riverbanks slip so closely by you could almost touch them. Alster boat trips – if requested with refreshment and support programme – are available for groups of 20 and more.
